Anne has more than seven years of experience working in international development and humanitarian assistance in Latin America, Africa, and Asia with faith-based, local, and international humanitarian aid organizations. Before completing her Masters in International Development at George Washington University, Anne served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala where she worked with rural health promoters as a Preventive Health Technician. She has a diverse technical background including gender and protection, research on resilience to drought and conflict shocks in agro-pastoral communities, and livelihood recovery programs in post-disaster contexts. Anne joined CARE’s Food and Nutrition Security unit in 2015, providing technical support to integrated nutrition programs, the wider FNS portfolio via formative research and nutrition-sensitive social and behavior change guidance, as well as supporting the production and roll-out of gender-transformative methodologies based in community-led reflection and dialogue.
