Kristina Granger is currently the Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) Manager on the USAID funded SPRING project, working for the Manoff Group and based in Washington DC. She has a diverse background with experience in marketing and communications, project management and infant and young child feeding research. At SPRING, Kristina has helped lead the design, implementation and testing of a community-led video nutrition and behavior change pilot project in collaboration with Digital Green in Orissa, India and subsequent adaptation in Niger. She led the development of the Community Video for Nutrition Guide based on the two proofs of concept implementations. She has also supported the review and finalization of Nigeria’s Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) Facility and Community Training Packages, development of an SBCC strategy for the Bangladesh country program, development of an on-the-job facility IYCF and counseling training package for Haiti, and is currently supporting the development of nutrition materials for ECD centers and Kid's Clubs catering to OVCs in Nigeria. Prior to joining SPRING, Kristina worked briefly with the MCHIP project backstopping communications and was Senior Associate for Marketing and Communications at Devex for almost six years. Kristina has led infant and young child feeding research in Guatemala with PCI and she also conducted program implementation and design research for a program working with teens in the US and in Mexico City for the Population Council. Kristina has her MPH in Global Health Communication from George Washington University and a BA from the University of Delaware in Political Science and Women’s Studies with a minor in Spanish.
