Hi all, I am an international development communication specialist with 19 years of experience in the design and implementation of social and behavior change communication (SBCC) programs focused on health. I have developed interventions with mothers, young people, couples, sex workers, armed forces, and community organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Among other things, I led the technical components of the USAID-funded global Communication for Change (C-Change) Project as Deputy Director and am currently the technical partner of Communication for Healthy Communities (CHC) in Uganda. Having the combination of a Masters in Political Science (FU-Berlin) and one in Public Health Communication (JHU, Baltimore) has been helpful to work on integrated programs across several health areas and beyond. Hence, I am curious about the application of SBCC in areas such as climate change, wildlife and conservation, urban development, violent extremism and other areas that overlap with health and behavior.
