Meenakshi began her career as a Teacher of the Deaf and taught in India and the United States for several years. Subsequently, she worked on school reform initiatives in the U.S. Before coming to SWI, Meenakshi worked with a team to develop a reading curriculum for struggling readers. Meenakshi holds a Masters degree in Deaf Education from Gallaudet University, Washington D.C. and a Master's in Language and Literacy from Harvard University.
