Hi!

I am deeply committed to community empowerment and using creative media to facilitate powerful social change, who has worked for over 25 years of experience in development and communication field. I have spent the last 6 years leading PCI Media Impact’s growing portfolio of Entertainment-Education programs that now spans over 40 countries.

I have a multi-sector background, having spent 12 years with the United Nations Development Programme, 5 years with the Canadian government and 3 years working with other international non-government organizations such as ICLEI (Secretary General) and Rare (Vice-President).

I am a dual Canadian and South African citizen and have lived, worked and travelled in over 80 countries. I hold a Masters of Science from the London School of Economics and Bachelors in Economics from the University of British Columbia, and have a wonderful daughter, Safia.
